The Rams knew going into the week they weren’t going to have rookie running back Todd Gurley at their disposal.
But they’re going to be missing his backup as well.
Running back Tre Mason is among the Rams inactives for today’s game against the Seahawks, leaving them thin in the backfield for the opener.
Mason has been bothered by a hamstring problem, while Gurley continues to rehab last year’s torn ACL.
That leaves Benny Cunningham to start at running back, which puts more pressure on quarterback Nick Foles in his Rams debut.
