Titans quarterback Vince Young returned to the practice field Thursday, but stopped short of saying he would start this week against the Dolphins.
“I have the slightest idea right now. I can’t give you that answer,” Young told the Nashville Tennessean.
That quote is in opposition to his statements last week, when he declared on Friday he would play.
Practicing without incident this early in the week is also a departure for Young from last week when sat out Friday’s practice. Young admitted his hamstring has improved a “tremendous” amount since he left last week’s win over St. Louis.
“It was encouraging we got him back on the field,’' coach Jeff Fisher said. “I thought he moved around pretty well.’'
With Young able to work Thursday and the Titans still alive for a playoff spot, it’s hard to imagine V.Y. not starting Sunday’s game.
