Washington found a solid contributor in midseason in Mason Foster, so it made sense to keep him around.
According to John Keim of ESPN.com, Washington brought the veteran inside linebacker back on a two-year deal.
Foster signed in Week Four, and ended up playing the rest of the year and starting five games. He started for them in the playoffs.
A former third-round pick by the Buccaneers, Foster’s a solid inside player, and the kind of guy worth keeping around at the right price.
