Luke was deactivated before the game. He was scheduled to be the return man.

The ageless one still has four years left on his account. The upside is gone, but he’s still a useful fantasy asset.

Smith missed about a week, including Denver’s first preseason game.

He’s missed a week with a hamstring injury that isn’t believed to be serious.

Smith, 36, has missed a few practices and is worth monitoring because of his age. Brandon Marshall and Darius Watts have picked up first-team reps.

He’s missed five days with a minor hamstring injury, but should be fine.

St. Louis’ cornerback rotation was better than anyone anticipated. Smith is a shaky start in Week 2 vs. Kansas City’s corner duo of Ty Law and Patrick Surtain, who held Chad Johnson and Chris Henry to six total catches in Week 1.

Two games, 13 receptions, 159 yards for Smith. He isn’t likely to break out with huge games, but Smith remains a stead WR3 for fantasy leaguers.

He’s probably not a Hall-of-Famer, but Smith now has 677 catches and 56 TDs in his career. He could top 10,000 receiving yards next year. Smith has scored three TDs in three games and should remain in the top ten in the NFL in receiving yards.

It would have been nice to see him score, obviously. The potential is certainly there over the next few weeks though.
