Bengals elevated WR Stanley Morgan and Shedrick Jackson for Week 10 against the Texans.
The elevation of two wide receivers is of particular intrigue considering the absence of Tee Higgins and Ja’Marr Chase listed as questionable. Chase is reportedly a game-time decision and will test out his back in pre-game warmups. Only Trenton Irwin and Andre Iosivas remained as healthy wide receivers behind slot man Tyler Boyd until the elevations. Fantasy managers will want to keep a close eye on the status of Chase 90-minutes prior to the team’s early afternoon kickoff.

Bengals signed Nebraska WR Stanley Morgan.
Morgan (6’0/202) graduated as the Cornhuskers’ all-time leader in catches (189) and receiving yards (2,747), averaging 14.5 career yards per catch with 22 touchdowns. PFF College credited Morgan with a Big Ten-high 535 yards gained on 20-plus-yard targets in 2018, and his high-end athleticism was confirmed at the Combine with 89th-percentile SPARQ results, including adequate 4.53 speed and the second-best three-cone time (6.78) among all wideouts in Indy. Tough enough to win over the middle with outstanding ball skills and a competitive on-field attitude, Morgan’s clean routes and soft hands give him a chance to become a starting NFL slot receiver or flanker.

The Draft Network’s Ben Solak believes Nebraska WR Stanley Morgan is “the ideal inside/outside flex player” for a team without a designated slot receiver.
Morgan (6'2/202) is projected to be an early Day 3 selection after posting an athletic composite score in the 88th percentile. Solak believes Morgan would provide a “tremendous return” at his current expected draft position and is a “great short/intermediate guy who can make some people miss.” Draft Analyst’s Tony Pauline reported that Morgan is “getting a lot of interest” from the Rams, Giants, Cardinals, and Saints. He’s currently a Day 3 pick with upside.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Draft Analyst’s Tony Pauline passes along that Nebraska WR Stanley Morgan will have a private workout with the New Orleans Saints.
Per Pauline, Morgan is “getting a lot of interest” from the Rams, Giants and Cardinals. The 6-foot, 202-pounder did not take part in Nebraska’s pro day on Thursday, instead opting to stand by his combine numbers. He posted a composite SPARQ athletic score in the 88th percentile of NFL wide receivers while in Indianapolis this past weekend. Pauline currently grades Morgan as a sixth-round prospect.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Nebraska WR Stanley Morgan ran the 40-yard dash in an unofficial 4.53 seconds at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Going into the event, Morgan (6'0/202) was viewed as a Day 3 prospect, and he didn’t change his draft stock with his forty time, nor with his jumps -- he had a 38.5-inch vert and a 125-inch broad jump. On the field, Stanley led the Big 10 in 20+ yard receptions but otherwise tested average to below average. Draft analysts like The Athletic’s Dane Brugler have said Morgan is underrated compared to his perceived draft status.
  • FA Wide Receiver
According to Pro Football Focus, Nebraska WR Stanley Morgan led all Big 10 wide receivers in receiving yards on 20+ yard receptions last season.
Morgan (6'1/200) racked up 535 receiving yards on deep receptions last year, edging out Purdue’s Issac Zico (402), and Michigan’s Nico Collins (396) for the top spot in the Big 10. Morgan isn’t a true speedster as the numbers might suggest but doesn’t allow corners to push him off his route. A strong performance at the NFL Scouting Combine would change things, but at the moment he’s looking like a possible Day 3 selection in the NFL Draft.
  • FA Wide Receiver
The Athletic’s Dane Brugler puts Nebraska WR Stanley Morgan on his All-Underrated team going into the NFL Combine.
Morgan (6'1/200) is a strong player, both mentally and physically. In fact, his Nebraska coaches called Morgan the “emotional leader” of the team, and Brugler says that Morgan doesn’t allow opposing corners to get him off his route. While not overly speedy, Morgan was moderately productive as a senior in 2018, catching 70 passes for 1,004 yards and seven touchdowns. Unless his profile drastically changes at the NFL Combine -- that would be surprising -- Morgan figures to be a Day 3 receiver battling for a 53-man roster spot as a rookie.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan caught seven passes for 81 yards in a 31-28 loss to Iowa on Friday.
Morgan was playing his final game as a Cornhusker -- Nebraska won’t be going bowling -- and he ends it with a solid game, albeit in a losing effort. He was outstanding to end the year, and with his size (6'1/200) and speed, he could be one of the first senior wideouts to come off the board come the 2019 NFL Draft. A trip to an All-Star game is very likely.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Per Pro Football Focus, Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan caught 8-of-9 targets including two touchdowns and three first downs in Saturday’s game against Illinois.
Morgan racked up 62 of his 131 yards after the catch and forced four missed tackles on the day. He has been on a tear the past four games, recording 32 receptions 463 yards, and six touchdowns. He’ll look to continue his dominance in a tougher matchup next week against Michigan State.
  • FA Wide Receiver
Per Pro Football Focus, Nebraska senior WR Stanley Morgan caught 7-of-10 targets including two touchdowns and three first downs in Saturday’s game against Bethune-Cookman.
34 of his 82 total yards in this one came after the catch as Morgan has proven to be a versatile wideout. He has been on fire as of late, scoring two touchdowns in his second straight game. He will have one of his toughest matchups of the season against Ohio State next week.
