Cowboys re-signed LS Trent Sieg to a three-year, $4.5 million contract.

When Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones said the team would be “selectively aggressive” in free agency, this is clearly what he meant. Sieg’s deal includes $3.1 million guaranteed. He logged three special teams tackles last year.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Cowboys agreed to terms with long snapper Trent Sieg on a one-year contract.

It’s a proof-of-life transaction for the Cowboys — the only team not to make a move in free agency on Monday. Sieg, a seven-year veteran, will play a second season in Dallas after working as the team’s long snapper throughout 2023.

Cowboys signed LS Trent Sieg, formerly of the Raiders, to a one-year, $1.23 million contract.

Able to snap snaps longer than most snappers, Sieg was released by the Raiders a few days ago. He had one year left on his three-year contract. He will replace former Dallas long snapper Jake McQuaide.
