Patriots waived LB Vince Redd.
Redd, mostly a practice squad player who was active for a few games last season, was expected to add depth after the Mike Vrabel trade. He wasn’t ticketed for much playing time with Paris Lenon and Gary Guyton ahead on the depth chart.
