Dodgers purchase contract of OF/1B O’Koyea Dickson from Triple-A Oklahoma City.
It’s the first time that the 27-year-old has been summoned to the big leagues. He hit .246/.328/.484 with 24 homers and 76 RBI at Triple-A this season. He’ll add another power bat to the Dodgers’ bench but won’t hold any fantasy value over the final month of the season.
  • INT Outfield #67
Dodgers activated 1B/OF O’Koyea Dickson from the 60-day disabled list.
He’s now back on the 40-man roster. Dickson suffered a left shoulder sublulxation in September.
  • INT Outfield #67
Dodgers sent 1B/OF O’Koyea Dickson outright to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
He’s now off the 40-man roster. Dickson spent nearly all of 2017 at Oklahoma City, hitting .246/.328/.484 with 24 homers.
  • INT Outfield #67
O’Koyea Dickson has elected to become a free agent.
Dickson was outrighted off the Dodgers’ 40-man roster on Monday. The 27-year-old should be able to find a new home rather quickly after posting an .811 OPS with 24 home runs and 76 RBI in 116 games this season at Triple-A Oklahoma City, though it will probably be on a minor league deal.
  • INT Outfield #67
Dodgers placed OF/1B O’Koyea Dickson on the 60-day disabled list with a left shoulder sublulxation.
The move frees up a spot on the club’s 40-man roster. The 27-year-old saw just nine plate appearances during his time with the big league club, going 1-for-7 (.143) with a pair of walks and two strikeouts. He should be healthy and ready to go for the start of spring training.
  • INT Outfield #67
O’Koyea Dickson has signed a contract with the Rakuten Golden Eagles of Nippon Professional Baseball.
No word yet on the term length or financial details. Dickson elected to become a free agent in November after being outrighted off the Dodgers’ 40-man roster. The 27-year-old corner outfielder put up good numbers last season at Triple-A Oklahoma City, including an .811 OPS and 24 home runs in 116 games. He should fare well in the power-friendly Japanese league.
