U.S. adds tennis player to Olympic roster after Bryan brothers withdraw

Tennis player Rajeev Ram is the newest member of the U.S. Olympic team, added Sunday, one day after Olympic doubles champions Bob and Mike Bryan withdrew due to health concerns.

Ram, ranked No. 118 in the world in singles, will play doubles in Rio with Steve Johnson. Rio will mark his first Olympics.

The U.S. Olympic men’s singles team includes Johnson, Jack Sock, Denis Kudla and Brian Baker, all first-time Olympians.
