It’s humorous to consider the reserved Arsene Wenger, who’s seen just about everything the game can show a manager, yelling “Shoot the ball” like an anxious fan.

That’s the spot in which Arsenal’s boss found himself as Mesut Ozil juggled around the Ludogorets keeper before waltzing past two sliding defenders to score the winning goal on Tuesday.

That goal and 3-2 win handed Arsenal a spot in its 14th-straight UEFA Champions League knockout round, and left the manager amused by the simplicity of the game.

From Arsenal.com:

“You know, I would say the great players make the right decisions in the game situations they face. They always make the optimal solution. To me it didn’t look for a while like the optimal solution, but when the ball was in the net I thought it was! You wanted him to take maybe his chance earlier but at the end he had enough skill to prove that he was right.”

If you haven’t seen the stunning dribble and goal, head here. Arsenal is level on points with Paris Saint-Germain, atop Group A on goal differential.
