Colombia was drawn into Group C where they will meet Brazil, the only team to beat Colombia in 2014. Brazil defeated Los Cafeteros 2-1 in the World Cup and again 1-0 in a friendly in September. Both losses were the only defeats for Colombia in 2014 in 13 matches.

Their World Cup matchup was headlined by Juan Zuniga’s harsh challenge which ended Neymar’s tournament with a broken vertebrae in his back. Their rematch in September was also a heated battle, meaning their third meeting could be one for the ages this summer in Chile.
