After guiding United to their 13th PL title in 20 attempts under his stewardship, the legendary Scottish manager stepped down after being in charge at Old Trafford for 26 years as he also won two UEFA Champions League trophies with the Red Devils to leave a lasting legacy of success.
United have struggled to cope without Ferguson at the helm, as first his hand-picked successor David Moyes was fired during his debut season, and Louis van Gaal has spent over $400 million completely rebuilding the team in hopes of replicating the glorious Ferguson-era.
Via the Daily Mail, Ferguson revealed that he only believes he managed four “world class players” during his near three-decade stay at United.

Ferguson conceded many players had a huge impact at Old Trafford but earmarked the four aforementioned stars as head and shoulders above the rest.
