“We are not thinking about conceding goals - only scoring them.”

So says Louis van Gaal as his Manchester United side prepares to overcome Liverpool’s 2-0 advantage after one leg of the Europa League’s Round of 16.

United returns home without a road goal and trailing, but LVG would rather concern himself with scoring a ton of goals than posting a clean sheet.

And if you don’t like Van Gaal’s swagger, Ander Herrera is tossing out confidence that surely has Sir Alex Ferguson smirking in approval.

Van Gaal also said that United faces “a big challenge, but we have to believe in it. I have spoken only to the players about victory,” adding that the team owes it to their fans.

Do you think United can overturn Liverpool’s advantage?

Regardless, here’s hoping United attacks as fervently as they claim.
