Sporting Kansas City defender Erik Palmer-Brown has been the subject of transfer interest from Serie A club Juventus, starting in January, and as this MLS season comes to a close, the Italian team has supposedly renewed their pursuit of the 17-year-old, according to journalist Alfredo Pedulla.
One million euros would be the price tag for the U.S. youth international, who has appeared in three games for Sporting this season prior to sustaining a stress fracture in his right foot.
On the U-18 side, he’s notched six caps, and he’s actually been a member of the United States youth system since he begun to play on U-15’s in 2013.
Peter Vermes and Co. already said that Palmer-Brown isn’t for sale back when the Juve inquired about the Ohio native, and that view hasn’t changed.
Assuming he stay’s at Sporting, it will be interesting to see how Palmer-Brown fits into the first-team squad’s plans next season.
