Six matches take place this weekend across Major League Soccer as we are already nearly a third of the way through the season.

The biggest MLS news of the week was last year’s joint-top goalscorer Kei Kamara being traded from Columbus to New England. Kamara’s first match for the Revs will be in front of a home crowd on Saturday night against Chicago.
D.C. United vs. New York Red Bulls -- Friday, 7:00 p.m. ET
The weekend slate of MLS action kicks off on Friday with D.C. United hosting the New York Red Bulls in an Atlantic Cup rivalry match. Both clubs are currently tied on points, with RBNY holding the final playoff spot through a tiebreaker. However, New York is yet to win a game on the road, a trend they will look to turn around against their oldest foe. Last season, New York went undefeated in Atlantic Cup matches, winning four and drawing the fifth, with two of those wins coming in the playoffs.
Montreal Impact vs. Philadelphia Union -- Saturday, 5:00 p.m. ET
It’s quite the surprise, but Montreal and Philadelphia are currently the top two teams in the Eastern Conference. The Impact are coming off of a wild draw over the weekend in which they came back from 4-1 down to finish 4-4 in Columbus. The Union are unbeaten in three matches and will look to continue their good form early in the season after finishing ninth in the East last year.

FC Dallas vs. Seattle Sounders -- Saturday, 9:00 p.m. ET
After a slow start to the season, Seattle has won three of their last four matches behind the play of Jordan Morris. The USMNT international and MLS rookie has four goals in his last four matches, a great sign for the Sounders moving forward. On Sunday, they head to Toyota Stadium to face FC Dallas, an MLS Cup favorite who are yet to lost at home and sit second in the conference.
