Premier League chief executive: “Entirely suitable” for gay players to come out

“It would be very strange if there wasn’t, wouldn’t it?”

So begins an interesting blurb from Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore, in an interview with the BBC.

“I actually think the environment would be entirely suitable for them to come out, if that’s the right phrase. I think it would be welcomed. I think there would be a tolerance to it, and the time would be right.”
