Chelsea’s win at Tottenham Hotspur was overshadowed by an incident of alleged racist abuse on Sunday.
The London derby was a heated battle and after Heung-min Son was sent off for kicking out at Antonio Rudiger in the second half, it is alleged that Chelsea’s defender was subjected to racist abuse by someone in the home end.
It is alleged that Rudiger was subjected to monkey chants by someone in the home end of the stadium, as the Chelsea player then told his captain Cesar Azpilicueta who pulled referee Anthony Taylor to one side.

Players from both teams then made a complaint to the officials about the incident, and then three announcements were made over the PA system to warn supporters that “racist behavior from spectators is interfering with the game.”
The announcements were made in the 74th, 83rd and 93rd minutes as part of the Premier League protocol.
