After spending most of the season on the bench, it seems like German international forward Lukas Podolski has had enough.
The 29-year-old has only featured 12 times for Arsenal this season, scoring three goals, and reports from Sky Sports state that Podolski is flying to Milan on Friday to tie up a loan deal with Serie A side Inter Milan until the end of the season.

A World Cup winner with Germany this summer in Brazil, Podolski joined the Gunners from Cologne in 2012 and has scored 31 goals in 55 starts for the north London club.
However after the arrival of Alexis Sanchez and Danny Welbeck this summer, plus Mesut Ozil last in 2013, Podolski’s impact at Arsenal has dwindled considerably. With the likes of Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud returning injury, the Polish-born striker is set to fall further down the pecking order in the coming weeks.
Internazionale currently sit in 11th spot in Serie A but are just six points off the top three ahead of the second half of the season beginning in Italy next week. If Inter can rally up the table an into the top three, the 2010 UEFA Champions League winners will return to Europe’s elite club competitions.
Can Podolski spearhead their assault on the rest of Serie A? Arsenal’s fans will be keeping a watchful eye on the German attacker as many believe he should have been given more of a chance to shine by Arsene Wenger this season.
