Moise Kean, a 16-year-old striker for Juventus, could become the fourth youngest player ever and first born in the 2000’s to appear in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday as Juventus plays Lyon.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri named Kean in his squad for the Champions League fixture due to injuries to forwards Mario Mandzukic and Marko Pjaca.

After dominating at the lower age groups for Juventus, Kean was brought into the U-19 squad in mid-September. He scored the game-winner in his debut.

Kean was an unused substitute during the club’s Serie A victory over Udinese on Saturday.

At 16 years and 232 days old, Kean has the chance to make history if Allegri chooses to play him against Lyon.
