    Titans released C Spencer Pulley.
Tennessee reached an injury settlement with Pulley and DB Greg Mabin. Both players were placed on injured reserve last week. Pulley did not play in 2020 and is now dealing with an unknown injury. At 28 years old, the veteran center may struggle to find a team before the season starts.

  • Titans placed C Spencer Pulley on injured reserve.
The Titans also placed DB Greg Mabin on IR with an undisclosed injury. Pulley last appeared in a game in 2019 for the Giants, and he’s nothing more than a depth piece for the Titans. It’s unclear what his injury is at this point.

  • Spencer Pulley is “in the lead” for the Giants’ starting center job, per the NY Post’s Paul Schwartz.
Pulley will be competing with Nick Gates and potentially Jon Halapio, who still needs to be re-signed. The Giants have worked hard to build the talent along their offensive line over the last two or three offseasons, and only the center spot lacks a name attached to a large investment. The team did give Pulley a three-year contract back in 2019 when he was a restricted free agent, but he played just 95 snaps last season.

  • Giants re-signed C Spencer Pulley to a three-year, $9.6 million extension.
Pulley was a restricted free agent, but the Giants decided to give him a long-term deal rather than a one-year tender. Pulley filled in at center last season with Jon Halapio on injured reserve, but he will likely return to a reserve spot this year.
  • Second-year UDFA Spencer Pulley is projected to be the Chargers’ starting center.
Pulley played 217 snaps as a rookie, filling in at both guard spots and center. Last year’s center, Matt Slauson, is expected to move back over to left guard, leaving Pulley and 2016 third-rounder Max Tuerk as the contenders at the pivot spot.
