Seahawks promoted RB Terrence Magee to the active roster.
He’ll give Seattle depth with Thomas Rawls (shin) doubtful. Magee’s signing also suggests C.J. Prosise (questionable, hand) could be held out.

Seahawks waived/released RB Terrence Magee, CB Perrish Cox, TE Chris Briggs, C Ross Burbank, DT Rodney Coe, RB George Farmer, WR Jamel Johnson and K John Lunsford.
Magee was a depth player promoted to the active roster last season out of necessity. Already an ex-Seahawk once before, Cox was just added in the offseason on a non-guaranteed deal. PFF rated him as the No. 118 cornerback out of 119 qualifying players across 625 snaps for Tennessee last season.
  • FA Running Back
    Ravens waived RB Terrence Magee.
A 2015 UDFA, Magee spent his rookie year on Baltimore’s practice squad. He made four late-season appearances in a backup role. The Ravens didn’t have room for Magee with the addition of fourth-rounder Kenneth Dixon.

    Ravens waived RB Terrence Magee.
Only the investment the Ravens made in Buck Allen saved Allen’s roster spot after he was outplayed by Magee this preseason. Magee should get a long look for Baltimore’s practice squad. The LSU alum is a pedestrian runner, but plays with intensity and can pick up the blitz.

    Ravens signed RB Terrence Magee.
Waived at final cuts, Magee was re-signed after Brent Urban was placed on injured reserve/designated to return. Magee outplayed rookie Buck Allen this preseason, and he could serve as the No. 2 back behind Justin Forsett Week 1.

    Ravens waived RB Terrence Magee.
With Lorenzo Taliaferro back to full health, Magee was no longer needed. He’ll be stashed on the practice squad if/when he clears waivers.
  • FA Running Back
Ravens signed LSU RB Terrence Magee.
Magee (5'9/213) was a rotational back throughout his LSU career, gaining 1,330 yards with 12 TDs on 226 carries (5.88 YPC) and catching 24 passes. He ran 4.65/4.66 at the Tigers’ Pro Day after posting a 37-inch vertical and 9-foot-7 broad jump in Indianapolis. Magee is a gets-what’s-blocked-runner only, but one of the best pass-protecting backs in this class and can catch the football despite limited usage there in college. A competitive overachiever, there is some Knowshon Moreno to Magee’s game.
  • FA Running Back
Ravens waived RB Terrence Magee and promoted WR Jeremy Butler from their practice squad.
Raheem Mostert will be Baltimore’s No. 3 running back behind Justin Forsett and rookie Buck Allen in Monday night’s clash with the Cardinals.
  • FA Running Back
Ravens promoted RB Terrence Magee from the practice squad.
It’s a sign Justin Forsett (questionable, ankle) will be held out Sunday. The Ravens claimed Raheem Mostert off waivers earlier this week, but Magee should back up Buck Allen if Forsett doesn’t play.
  • FA Running Back
Ravens re-signed RB Terrence Magee to a one-year, $525,000 contract.
Magee was an exclusive rights free agent. The 2015 undrafted free agent was active four times as a rookie, receiving two total carries. A limited athlete whose best asset is pass protection, Magee will be up against it to crack the 53-man roster.
