Texans claimed OT Terry Poole off waivers from the Dolphins.
A former fourth-round pick of Seattle, Poole will be joining his third NFL organization. He was seen as a tweener guard/tackle before the 2015 draft.
  • Seahawks signed No. 130 overall pick OL Terry Poole to a four-year contract.
A two-year college starter at tackle, the Seahawks are moving Poole to left guard. Poole has the athleticism (5.09 forty, 31-inch vertical) to excel in Seattle’s zone scheme. He’ll get a chance to compete with Alvin Bailey in training camp.
  • Seahawks selected San Diego State OT Terry Poole with the No. 130 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft.
Poole (6'5/307) spent two seasons as an Aztec after transferring from community college, starting at right tackle as a junior and left tackle as a senior. He has guard arm length (33 1/4") but top-notch athleticism, running 5.09 in Indy with a 31-inch vertical and 9-foot-3 broad jump. Poole needs work, but his size-movement combination suggests he could eventually push to start in a zone scheme.
