Padres released LHP Travis Radke.
Radke, 27, has pitched well in the minors for the Padres the last two seasons, but is a victim of the roster crunch. The southpaw posted an ERA of 2.64 at three levels -- including Triple-A El Paso -- with a 76/24 K/BB ratio in 71 2/3 innings over 49 appearances. It seems like that there will be interest in Radke on the open market.
