Cardinals signed WR Victor Bolden, formerly of the USFL’s Birmingham Stallions, to a one-year contract.
Bolden (5'8/178) is a 27-year-old former UDFA out of Oregon State who bounced around the NFL before getting a chance in the startup USFL this past spring. He ended up finishing fourth in the league with 415 receiving yards and one touchdown on 42 grabs across nine games. Bolden was also an ace return man and won MVP of the championship game. He’ll try to win a job with the Cardinals this summer.

    Bills waived WR Victor Bolden.
Bolden is primarily a special-teamer and his next team will be his third in as many seasons. Bolden has one reception through two seasons.

    Bills signed WR Victor Bolden.
The Bills placed RB Marcus Murphy (elbow) on Injured Reserve, which opened up a spot on the roster. Bolden will be way off the fantasy radar.

    49ers waived WR Victor Bolden.
CB Greg Mabin has also been cut. Boden returned from suspension earlier this month and made four appearances, catching one pass for the 49ers’ banged up receiver corps.

49ers activated WR Victor Bolden from the suspended list.
It’s not a great sign for Marquise Goodwin’s (questionable, hamstring/quad) status. The 49ers also promoted DL Ryan Delaire from the practice squad and waived S Tyvis Powell and OG Najee Toran.

NFL suspended WR Victor Bolden four games for violating the league’s policy on PEDs.
The second-year wideout claims he “unknowingly” took a supplement that was on the NFL’s banned substances list. Bolden didn’t accumulate any stats over his 27 offensive snaps last year, but played an important role on special teams by returning 19 kicks for 396 yards. With the arrival of second-round receiver/return specialist Dante Pettis, Bolden faces an uphill battle to crack the Niners’ 53-man roster. This suspension won’t help matters.

49ers signed Oregon State WR Victor Bolden.
Bolden (5’8/178) made 30 starts at wideout for the Beavers, leading the team in receptions in each of his final three years and compiling a career 167-1,849-7 (11.1 YPR) receiving line in addition to 93-731-3 (7.9 YPC) rushing. A true all-purpose dynamo, Bolden returned three career kickoffs for touchdowns and scored once on a punt. While his versatility is an obvious plus, Bolden is undersized even by NFL slot-receiver standards and ran a disappointing 4.54 at the Combine. Bolden will have to make his mark on special teams.
