Bengals signed South Carolina CB Victor Hampton.
Hampton (5-foot-9, 197) was considered a potential day-two pick before an April nightclub altercation. He made 22 starts for the Gamecocks, notching five picks. Although Hampton was an extremely physical college corner, he may be limited to the slot or safety in the NFL due to size and speed (4.69) deficiencies.

TMZ reports South Carolina CB Victor Hampton and DT Kelcy Quarles are “wanted for questioning” in relation to an April 11 nightclub altercation in New York City.
According to TMZ, there was a fight in the VIP section of the Greenhouse nightclub, and a club promoter suffered “extensive facial injuries.” It’s not a good look for Hampton and Quarles, who are both considered day-two prospects. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, they could become day-three picks.

    Ravens released CB Victor Hampton.
Two days ago, Hampton was driving 100 MPH in a 55 MPH while drunk. He was arrested on speeding, DWI, reckless driving, and open container charges. A passenger was charged with carrying a concealed firearm. Hampton’s release is a predictable outcome for a player that has long been plagued by off-field woes.
