Toronto Tempo vs Atlanta Dream Game Preview:
The Tempo (10-12) enter tonight’s game on an eight-game losing streak.
Injuries have been a struggle for Toronto, with key players like Brittney Sykes, Kiki Rice, Isabelle Harrison, and Nyara Sabally all missing significant time this season.
Toronto, having gone 1-12 over the last 13 games, currently ranks 13th in the league. With 13 games remaining, the Tempo sit eight games behind the Dallas Wings for the eighth and final playoff spot.
The Atlanta Dream (19-12) enter tonight’s game sixth in the league after winning six of their last eight.
Atlanta’s success this season has been powered by the All-Star trio of Allisha Gray, Angel Reese, and Rhyne Howard.
Gray leads the team in scoring (19.1 points per game) and is on pace for a career-high in that category.
Reese, who was traded in April from Chicago, leads the league in offensive rebounds per game (5.1) and second-chance points (4.7).
Atlanta looks to make its fourth straight playoff appearance and first-ever WNBA title.
