We have a ten-game NBA Slate to start the week. I have a pair of wagers that I feel great about. Odds powered by PointsBet.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Atlanta Hawks (-11.5) Total: 213

The Hawks are playing their best basketball of the young season. Tonight, they host the Thunder looking for their fifth straight win. The Hawks are also 4-0 ATS on their winning streak. Atlanta is 7-1 ATS at home this season.

The Thunder have won once in their last four games. Despite being 6-10 on the Money Line on the season, the Thunder are 10-6 ATS. They have won eight of their last 10 ATS. They are 5-3 ATS on the road this season.

The Hawks are rounding into form and have been playing well recently, but the Thunder have been undervalued all season. It shows in their ATS record. I like the Thunder to cover the spread tonight in Atlanta.

Edge: Thunder +11.5

Minnesota Timberwolves vs. New Orleans Pelicans (+3.5) Total: 214

The Timberwolves, like the Hawks, are playing very good basketball. Minnesota has won three games in a row and successfully laid points vs. the Grizzlies, Spurs and Kings. Tonight, they are once again laying numbers vs. one of the league’s poorer teams, but this time on the road.

The Timberwolves are only 3-15 on the Money Line this season. They are 6-12 ATS on the season. The Timberwolves and Pelicans have played twice already this season. They have split the two games, each winning once. Those games were played in Minnesota.

Minnesota is 7-9 ATS this season. They are 2-3 ATS on the road and 4-4 ATS as favorites. This will be their first time on the road as favorites this season. I’m not backing them in untested waters. New Orleans is 4-4 ATS at home this season.

Edge: Pelicans +3.5
