There are seven games on tonight’s NBA slate, including the big matchup of the night between Eastern Conference powers in Milwaukee. Most teams have about six games or so remaining on their schedule and as the postseason nears, it may be a good idea to bet against teams with nothing to play for as their motivation factor could be very low at this point. Tonight’s odds are powered by PointsBet.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks (-1) Total: 241.5
This meeting between the Bucks and Nets will be the third and final one during the regular season. These two teams have split the previous two meetings after the Bucks defeated the Nets by three on Sunday in a low-scoring affair.
The Nets have played very well against the league’s best teams, including going 10-5 ATS in games versus the top four teams in each conference. I like the Nets to win tonight if Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving play. The Total also looks a little high to me for a final regular-season game between two teams who are playing for playoff seeding.
Edge: Nets +1

Dallas Mavericks vs Miami Heat (-4) Total: 215.5
The Mavericks and Heat meet tonight in a game that’s important for both teams. The Mavericks are currently a half-game ahead of the Blazers in the sixth seed out West and are only a half-game behind the Lakers for the fifth seed.
Meanwhile, Miami is trying to move into the fifth seed in the East as it trails Atlanta by a half-game but only leads Boston by a game.
The Mavericks will be short-handed tonight as Kristaps Porzinigis is expected to miss the game. Maxi Kleber is also questionable for Dallas, so once again Luka Doncic will have to do it all.
The Heat have played better as of late, winning four of their last five games. Many people think they will make another long run in the playoffs this year, but I don’t see it. Miami is just not that good this year. Edge Finder Tip: The Dallas Mavericks are 9-4 ATS on the road vs. Eastern Conference teams this season.
Edge: Mavericks +4

Golden State Warriors vs. New Orleans Pelicans (-3) Total: 235
The Warriors and Pelicans run it back tonight in New Orleans after the Warriors blew out the Pelicans 123-108 last night.
The Warriors are a 3-point underdog to the Pelicans heading into tonight’s matchup, which looks and feels like a trap game. Early numbers indicate that the Warriors will be the biggest public side on the board tonight and that’s never a good bet to make. Look for the Pelicans to bounce back against the Warriors tonight.
Edge: Pelicans -3
