The Phoenix Suns are in a position to win the Western Conference Championship Monday night on their home court. The Los Angeles Clippers are now a +1400 underdog at PointsBet.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Phoenix Suns (-5) Total: 212.5

The Phoenix Suns have been the best team in the NBA all season. They did finish behind the Utah Jazz for the best record, but in my mind they were the cream of the crop. Tonight, they will likely celebrate winning the west.

The Suns won the Pacific Division with a 51-21 record, and an 11-3 record during these playoffs. The Suns were 42-28-2 (60%) ATS on the season. They were 23-13 (63%) ATS at home this season. The Suns are good and I don’t think the Clippers can push them any further without Kawhi Leonard.

To win the West, the Suns will have gone through the Lakers, Nuggets and Clippers outside of Phoenix. I think it’s a safe bet to say that those were probably the best teams in the West.

Monday night’s Game 5 opened on PointsBet with the Suns as 6-point favorites. That number dropped to 5 at most shops, but now it’s starting to steam back toward the 6. Most shops have had the Suns Money Line between -220 and -225, making them the clear favorite.

I don’t think the Clippers have anything left after a brutal Game 4 loss. I predict the Suns will win this game going away. Right now on PointsBet the Suns are +110 to win the NBA Title with Devin Booker +200 to win Finals MVP. Chris Paul is +350 to win Finals MVP and Deandre Ayton is +1800 to win Finals MVP. In my opinion those are the only plays left on the board.
