With only two matches taking place in the English Premier League on Sunday, betting options are few and far between.
Despite the lack of options, there is one wager specifically that offers appeal.
Below you will find an overlay to consider from Sunday’s game between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Leicester City available at PointsBet.
For those unfamiliar with the term “overlay,” it simply refers to odds that are higher than an outcome’s true probability.
For example, if an outcome has a 50% chance of happening, the correlating odds would be +100.
If the odds offered on that specific event are +150, or an implied probability of 40%, then the price would represent an overlay.

WOLVES v. LEICESTER CITY – MATCH RESULT – Draw (+225)
Sunday’s contest between Wolves and Leicester highlights two teams that have contrasting styles, setting the stage for an entertaining battle.
Bruno Lage’s Wolves squad have showcased lovely team football throughout this Premier League season, playing as a unit from start to finish.
This cohesion is a large reason they have allowed the second fewest number of goals against (17) in the league this season, trailing only league-leading Manchester City in this category.
The larger issue for this team is their lack of firepower, as evidenced by their twenty-one goals scored this campaign, a number that puts them among the likes of Watford, Burnley, and Norwich – the three clubs currently slated for relegation.
Adama Traoré never could get anything going this season, and now with his departure to Barcelona, even more pressure is placed on Raúl Jiménez to pace Wolves’ offense.
The tale of the tape has been just the opposite for Brendan Rodgers and Leicester City.
The Foxes rank in the top six in terms of goals scored this season, yet also sit in the bottom five in terms of goals allowed.
The juxtaposition of these two stats has led Leicester to a mid-table position through twenty-two Premier League matches, something that cannot help but feel like an underwhelming spot given their capabilities.
Although one of the higher scoring clubs is getting set to take on one of the best in terms of goal prevention, my guess is this match results in a lower-scoring affair.
The odds available on either side do nothing to inspire, however the +225 odds (implied probability of 30.8%) offered on a draw are intriguing.
Based on my projections, Wolves and Leicester play to a draw on Sunday 31.7% of the time, a percentage that translates to odds of +215 – making the +225 on offer an overlay worth considering.
