Chiefs selected Kansas State FB Braden Wilson with the No. 204 overall pick.
Wilson (6-3, 251) touched the football just 39 times in his four-year career. He ran 4.81 at the Combine, and pumped 22 reps on the bench. Wilson got a ton of lead-blocking experience in the Wildcats’ run-heavy offense, and has been described as “a true headbanger” by Draft Nasty’s Corey Chavous. He’ll likely have to apprentice on special teams first, but Wilson could get a shot at lead-blocking duties as a rookie.
