Iowa State redshirt senior DB Lawrence White declared for the 2021 NFL Draft.
White (6'0/197) has been a fixture in the ISU defensive backfield for four seasons, recording 210 tackles, eight passes defended, 2.0 sacks and three interceptions. The 2019 and 2020 Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honoree allowed 28 receptions on 42 targets for 440 yards and five touchdowns in coverage while serving as the Cyclones’ starting free safety. The redshirt senior had trouble in the open field, missing 14 tackles, which led to a dismal PFF tackling grade of 48.0. White currently projects as a late Day 3 - UDFA prospect for NFL Draft purposes.
