Colorado State completes coaching staff

A little over three months after accepting the Colorado State job, and with spring practice starting today, coach Jim McElwain has finally completed his coaching staff with the Rams.

Greg Lupfer, who has spent the past three seasons at FCS program Cal Poly, will coach defensive line according to a school release. The hire also means co-defensive coordinator Marty English, who was previously assigned to D-line duties, will shift his position to linebackers, where he’ll coach alongside Tim Skipper.

Lupfer also had a one-year stint at Toledo and spent 12 seasons at his alma mater, Portland State, from 1995-2006.
