Earlier this month, there were numerous reports in which ex-Michigan basketball player Kelvin Grady was said to be considering a move to the Wolverine football program. Now, that move has been made official.According to the Ann Arbor News, Grady has received permission to become a walk-on for the Wolverines in 2009. The decision came following a recent meeting with head coach Rich Rodriguez. In early April, Grady announced that he was leaving the Michigan basketball team and would transfer to another school to play the same sport. That decision came after the point guard saw just five minutes of action -- total -- during Michigan’s NCAA tournament “run”.After two months of contemplation, however, Grady, according to his father, has decided to remain at Michigan and play a sport in which he excelled during high school. As a senior at East Grand Rapids High, Grady earned All-State honors in the sport after rushing for over 2,000 yards and 28 touchdowns.
