JARBOE LANDS AT TROY

Receiver Josh Jarboe, dumped by Oklahoma after a video with expletives and violent references landed onto YouTube, will now play for Troy, according to Joe Schad of ESPN.com.(We’re trying to imagine the conversation between Jarboe and Bob Stoops, and for us it goes something like George Costanza’s explanation regarding his decision to have sex with the maid on his desk.)Jarboe was expelled from high school for bringing a weapon to campus. Oklahoma still honored its scholarship offer."Troy University has always been interested in providing opportunities for young people to better themselves, and this is a situation where a young man who has made some mistakes is looking for a second chance,” Troy coach Larry Blakeney said.Jarboe is a freshman. He had offers from more than 25 schools before picking Oklahoma.It’s not known at this point whether Jarboe will be required to sit out a year before suiting up.
