This whole “screw the BcS” thing could be catching on.We previously mentioned that Utah coach Kyle Whittingham plans to vote for the Vandalay Sugar Bowl champion Utes as the top team in the USA Today poll. Now, Texas coach Mack Brown plans to pencil in the Longhorns as the best team in the land, after they won the Vandalay Fiesta Bowl."I wasn’t sure before,” Brown said after Texas beat Ohio State, “but Friday morning I’m going to vote Texas No. 1 because I think this is the best team in the country."There’s a question as to whether the coaches who vote in the poll physically can cast a ballot for anyone other than the winner of Thursday night’s BcS National Championship game. Someone from the AFCA recently suggested that the process begins by voting for the No. 2 team.Still, if there’s way around it, count on Mack Brown to find it.Even if he’s voting for the wrong team. He should be breaking ranks not to vote for Texas, but for the CFT National Champions from Utah.
