Oh, you beautiful, idiotic Oklahoma Sooners.Haven’t you seen what a motivated Tim Tebow can do?Do you have money on Florida to win the BcS National Championship game on Thursday night?After a quiet build up to the big game in which the only distraction has been talk of Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops heading to the Broncos (for a change, we pimp PFT at CFT), Sooners sophomore cornerback Dominique Franks has thrown a verbal elbow at Tebow."If you look at the three best quarterbacks in the country, they came from the Big 12,” Franks said.Franks is referring to Colt McCoy of Texas, Graham Harrell of Texas Tech, and Oklahoma’s Heisman winner, Sam Bradford.Translation: Tebow isn’t one of the best three quarterbacks in the country."With us being in Florida and playing against Florida, everybody’s going to think Tebow should have won the Heisman,” Franks said. “But the right person won the Heisman, and we’re going to go out there and show everybody the reason why he won it."Oklahoma defensive coordinator Brent Venables tried to control the damage."I don’t know, maybe it’s just a young guy who doesn’t know any better,” Venables said. “He doesn’t watch enough tape. I really mean that. But I think he’s going to bat for a lot of guys who he has a lot of respect for.”
