USC safety Dion Bailey will have a press conference on Monday (Dec. 23) to discuss his future football plan, the school announced on Sunday.
The fourth-year junior led the Trojans with five interceptions and was fourth on the team with 62 tackles. He also broke up six passes, forced a fumble and had 6.5 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.
The 6-f00t-0, 200-pounder started his first two seasons as an undersized outside linebacker before moving back to his more natural safety spot this season.
He has 223 tackles and 11 interceptions in his career.
The guess here is that he’ll forego his final season and declare for the NFL draft. He is projected by at least one mock draft site to be selected between the 2nd and 4th rounds next spring.
