BYU senior S Troy Warner will return from injury (undisclosed) this Saturday when BYU plays Idaho State.
Warner (6'1/205) started five games in 2018 for the Cougars, recording 24 tackles and 2 defended passes on the year. He was expected to assume a starting safety role on the BYU defense, but an undisclosed injury sidelined him in summer camp. BYU has been besieged by injuries this season so Warner’s return provides much needed help. He is expected to play in the next three games and the Bowl game, allowing him to take a redshirt and play in 2020. BYU takes on Idaho State this Saturday in Provo.
