Davis

Davis was a “name” undrafted free agent out of UNLV, but couldn’t make it one week in Chip Kelly’s camp. An imposing 6-foot-3, 220 pounds with 4.57 speed and mouthwatering athleticism, Davis should get a second chance, but his NFL career is not off to a good start.

Davis (6'3/220) was physically dominant in the Mountain West, parlaying 186 career catches into 2,785 yards (15.0 YPR) and 22 TDs. Davis would’ve reset the UNLV record books had he not missed five games with a wrist injury as a senior. Davis profiles similarly to Dwayne Bowe in his prime with 4.57 speed, a 35 1/2-inch vertical, and a 10-foot-1 broad jump. A top-notch ball tracker with sure hands, Davis has all the traits of a contributing NFL receiver with deceptive vertical ability. He is DFS aficionado Davis Mattek’s favorite wideout in the 2015 class.

They’re solid-if-unspectacular times for the 6-foot-3, 220-pound wideout. Davis is flying under the radar this draft season, perhaps because he missed time in 2014 with a wrist injury. He’s seen as a mid- to late-round prospect.
