According to manager Craig Counsell, Jameson Taillon has a chance to return in time to make one, probably abbreviated, start for the Cubs before the All-Star break.
Taillon was expected to be sidelined until the second half with the strained hamstring he suffered on June 7. That the Cubs might prefer to activate him just to throw three or four innings in one of the final games of the first half pretty well sums up where they are with their rotation at the moment.
