Connor Prielipp struck out 10 over six innings of two-run baseball against the Rockies, but came away with no decision.
A sensational outing for Prielipp; one that saw him generate a whopping 20 swings-and-misses over 93 pitches. The two runs came on an infield single in the first, and an RBI knock in his sixth and final frame. Prielipp has been more down than up in his first taste of MLB action, but Sunday was a proof-of-concept for one of the better pitching prospects in the Minnesota system. He’ll try and match — or come close to it — those results Saturday against the Yankees.
