Luis García Jr. went 3-for-5 with two homers, five RBI, and three runs scored to lead the Nationals to a 6-4 win over the Orioles on Sunday.
García has been scorching at the dish in June. That continued on Sunday, starting with a two-run double in the third inning. He then took Tyler Wells deep for a two-run homer in the fifth for his fifth straight start with a home run and his 10th this month. He wasn’t done. García added a solo shot in the seventh, matching last season’s total of 16 homers on the season and giving him 11 in June.
