Rhett Lowder coughed up six runs over 4 /23 innings while taking a loss against the Brewers on Tuesday.
Lowder only gave up one walk and he was able to strike out eight, but he gave up a whopping 11 hits before exiting. There was some bad luck as the 24-year-old only allowed seven hard hits in the contest, but one was a solo homer by Jake Bauers, and a four-run fourth removed any chance this was going to be a literal or figurative quality start for Lowder. He’ll look to rebound against the Orioles on Sunday.
