Rhett Lowder allowed two runs in six innings and got the win in the Reds’ 3-2 victory over the Athletics on Wednesday.
Lowder gave up four hits, walked two and struck out three. He improved to 4-7 with the win. Lowder allowed a solo home run to Lawrence Butler in the first inning and a run on back-to-back hits in the sixth inning. Otherwise, the Athletics didn’t score. He has a 5.26 ERA on the year. Lowder is lined up to face the White Sox on the road next week.
