Rhett Lowder allowed four runs (three earned) in six innings and got the win in the Reds’ 11-5 victory over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.
Lowder gave up six hits, walked one and struck out one. He improved to 5-8 with the win. Lowder gave the Reds some length by going six innings and Cincinnati’s offense supported him with eight runs while he was still in the game. He has a 5.13 ERA. Lowder is lined up to face the Cubs on the road next weekend.
