Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI on Friday evening, propelling the Giants to a 7-6 victory over the Angels in extra innings.

Devers gave the Giants their first lead in the home half of the first inning as he pummeled a 2-1 fastball from Grayson Rodriguez for a 362-foot (101.8-mph) two-run shot. He then strolled to the dish with the bases loaded in the 10th inning and punched a single into left field to send the Giants’ faithful into a frenzy. His overall slash line on the season has continued to tick up, now up to a respectable .244/.315/.476 to go along with 21 homers and 56 RBI in 438 plate appearances.

Rafael Devers went 3-for-4 with a sac fly against the Padres on Thursday.

The sac fly was hit 399 feet and would have been a homer if Fernando Tatis Jr. didn’t make a nice jumping catch. Devers also had a 102-mph lineout to center in the ninth tonight. Meanwhile, his three hits checked in at 93, 70 and 50 mph. The last of those was a successful bunt against a shifted infield.

Rafael Devers went 3-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored to lead the Giants to a 9-2 win over the Angels on Saturday.

Devers put the Giants on the board with a base hit in the third inning to drive in a run. He then blew the game open with a three-run homer off Brent Suter. That’s back-to-back days with a home run for Devers, giving him seven in July and 22 on the season. The 29-year-old slugger is slashing .249/.319/.489 with 55 runs scored and 60 RBI across 442 plate appearances.

Rafael Devers went 0-for-4 and struck out three times against the Mariners on Sunday.

Devers lucked into a 339-foot homer on Saturday, but that was the only time he reached base in 14 at-bats against the Mariners, and he struck out three times in all three games of the series. It’s just the seventh time this year that a player has fanned three times in three straight games.

Rafael Devers went 3-for-3 with a homer, three RBI and an intentional walk Friday against the Rockies.

Devers drove in all of the Giants’ runs. His two singles were actually his hardest-hit balls of the game, leaving his bat at 109 and 107 mph. His homer was hit just 98 mph and would have made it out of 16 ballparks, according to Statcast. Devers is up to 19 homers and 52 RBI on the season.

Rafael Devers homered twice in a loss to the Rockies on Sunday.

Devers hit two of the Giants’ four homers, both off of Tanner Gordon. The 29-year-old slugger has now gone deep 18 times in 2026, and he’s driven 47 RBI over the first 89 games of the 2026 campaign. After a disastrous — at least per expectations — start to the season, Devers is starting to swing the bat at a level fantasy managers have grown accustomed to.

Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Friday against the Rockies.

Devers blasted a 432 foot moonshot as the Giants tried to make up a two touchdown deficit against the Rockies in Coors Field. They’d never get close to striking distance, but it’s nice to see that Devers has fully pulled the nose up on his season. Overall, he’s up to 16 home runs and a .775 OPS. Over the last 30 days, he’s hit nine of those home runs and has an .893 OPS. That looks much more like the Devers we know than who he was over the first chunk of the season.

Rafael Devers went 1-for-2 with a solo homer and two walks against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.

Devers drew a pair of walks in this one and slugged a solo homer off Taylor Clarke to lead off the seventh inning, a 111.3 mph blast at 424 feet to give the Giants their second run in the game. The home run was Devers’ 15th of the season while slashing 242/.304/.459 with 39 runs scored and 44 RBI. The home run also marks the 250th in his career for the 29-year-old slugger.

Rafael Devers hit two homers off Bryce Elder to knock in four runs in the Giants’ 5-0 defeat of the Braves on Saturday.

Devers’ first homer traveled 404 feet to center. The second went 359 feet and clanged off the foul pole in right. It’s Devers’ first two-homer game of the year and 23rd of his career. He has seven homers in June and 14 for the year, but he’s still at just .240/.300/.454 overall, and he’s on pace for 202 strikeouts. He’d never topped 150 strikeouts before finishing with 192 last year.

Rafael Devers is at first base and hitting cleanup in Tuesday’s series opener against the Athletics.

Giants president Buster Posey told reporters that Devers and manager Tony Vitello had a conversation following a bizarre incident where he tried to wave off a pinch-runner during the ninth inning of Sunday’s loss to the Marlins. The 29-year-old slugger doesn’t appear to be facing any discipline from the club for his actions. He’s been at the epicenter of trade speculation and figures to be on the move by the trade deadline in early August.

Rafael Devers went 0-for-3 and then tried to decline being lifted for a pinch-runner following a ninth-inning walk Sunday in the Giants’ 2-1 loss to the Marlins.

This was pretty amazingly immature stuff. The bench signaled to Devers that he was coming out, and he started shaking his finger at the manager. As Jonah Cox got to first base to sub in for him, Devers tried to wave him off and send him back out to the dugout, leaving the rookie bewildered. Finally, the first base ump had to step in and indicate that Cox was in the game, at which point Devers walked the dugout and threw off his helmet. It’ll be interesting to see if anything results from this. Most players would probably get benched for a game at minimum.

Chris Bassitt (back) pitched decently in his second minor league rehab start at Triple-A Norfolk on Sunday, giving up three runs (two earned) on four hits over 4 1/3 innings.

Bassitt struck out four batters on the afternoon while issuing one free pass. He threw 67 pitches in the contest, 47 of those for strikes. It’s possible that he’ll require one additional tune-up in the minors before he’s cleared to return to the Orioles’ rotation. It’s also possible that teams could be calling on Bassitt prior to Monday’s trade deadline.

Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports that the Mets will receive outfielder Aidan Smith, right-hander Gary Gill Hill and second baseman Emilen Pitre from the Rays i exchange for Freddy Peralta.

Smith, 22, ranks as the 15th best prospect in the Rays’ system according to MLB Pipeline while Hill and Pitre rank 26th and 27th respectively. It’s not a bad return for a couple of months of Peralta and should help to replenish the Mets’ system.

Joel Sherman of the New York Post adds that the Mets will receive three players back in return, though who those players are is not yet known. Expect the details to emerge throughout the afternoon. The Mets had been asking for a top-100 prospect “and more” in conversations earlier in the week. Stay tuned, as the hot stove is currently on fire as Monday’s trade deadline approaches.

No word yet on the reason for the late scratch, but the Nationals indicated that he will still be on the bench for the game, so it’s unlikely that it’s an injury situation, though he left Friday’s game due to mild soreness in his right knee. With Dean Kremer joining the Twins’ active roster on Sunday, someone needed to go to make room and it looks like Anderson pulled the short straw this time. The 26-year-old righty posted a 2.19 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and a 12/3 K/BB ratio over 12 1/3 innings between the Twins and Red Sox this season. He should get another opportunity in relatively short order.
