Ricky Tiedemann returned to the mound for Low-A Dunedin on Sunday and struck out two in a scoreless inning.
Tiedemann, who was regarded as one of the game’s best pitching prospects before injuries struck, returned from elbow surgery to be make two appearances in the FCL in June before getting shut down again because of a neck problem. He averaged 96.4 mph with his 10 fastballs today, topping out at 97.7 mph.
