Tiedemann winds up back in the majors after being shuttled back to the minors roughly 24 hours ago. The 24-year-old was one of the most intriguing pitching prospects in baseball just a couple years ago before an avalanche of injuries derailed his development. He’s likely ticketed for a relief role during the final three weeks of the season.

No surprise after Taillon left Friday’s start against the Royals after just 29 pitches. The 34-year-old veteran has been mostly ineffective as a starter this season and has also dealt with a number of physical issues. He’s most likely done for the rest of the season with just three weeks left on the calendar.

Lowe is back in right field and hitting seventh after missing two games with neck stiffness earlier this week.

It’s not quite time to press the panic button, but fantasy managers can’t be feeling too optimistic with Rafaela sitting out his third consecutive game due to a lingering quad issue. The 25-year-old told reporters earlier this week that he didn’t anticipate a trip to the injured list, but that could change if he’s unable to get back in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale. It’ll be Eli White patrolling center field in his absence.

Durbin takes a seat as his struggles at the dish continue. He’s batting just .191 (9-for-47) over his last 15 games and has just 2 hits in 22 at-bats over his last seven contests. He was insanely hot for most of the summer, but has run into a cold stretch recently. It’ll be Nick Sogard at third base in this one.

It doesn’t appear to be injury-related, but it’s worth noting that Rutschman missed three games earlier this week with a hyperextended elbow that he’ll need to manage for the remainder of the season. The switch-hitting backstop crushed two homers during Thursday’s win over his former club and was also behind the plate on Friday night.

Steele looked sharp from a velocity standpoint during his 36-pitch rehab debut earlier this week. The 31-year-old southpaw is likely ticketed for a multi-inning relief role, if he makes it back to Chicago before the postseason. He’s unlikely to make any sort of fantasy impact, but it’s worth noting that he should have a relatively normal offseason and return to the Cubs’ rotation next spring.

David Hamilton is at the keystone and hitting ninth in his absence. It’s notable that Turang, who collected three hits and drove in three runs during Friday’s contest, is taking a seat against lefty Andrew Abbott after Brewers manager Pat Murphy said earlier this week that he’s been battling a lingering right knee issue recently. It sounds like he’s going to be able to play through the issue, but is probably going to require the occasional maintenance day down the home stretch.

Griffin is back atop Pittsburgh’s lineup to face veteran southpaw Yusei Kikuchi after hitting sixth in his return from the injured list on Friday. The 20-year-old power/speed combo threat has a chance to make a massive impact for fantasy managers over the final three-plus weeks of the season and should be rostered in all leagues until further notice.

Lee appears to have checked out fine after suffering a bruised left shin when he collided with Guardians catcher Austin Hedges while trying to score on a rundown during the nightcap of Friday’s doubleheader. The versatile 23-year-old has been on a tear at the dish since returning to the majors in mid-June, batting .295 with six homers and 28 RBI over 64 games during that span. He’s at third base with Kevin McGonigle getting a breather after playing in both games of Friday’s twin bill.
