Ryan Gusto gave up four runs — two earned — in 4 2/3 innings and struck out six Saturday versus the Reds.
The unearned runs came in the third after an Esteury Ruiz error in right field opened the door for a two-run inning. The earned runs came on back-to-back homers from Ke’Bryan Hayes and Matt McLain in the fifth. Gusto walked none and had a nice 37 percent CSW. He’ll probably start against the Nationals next week.
